Hi Paulo,
are you interested in coming to Germany? 
DAAD and CAPES give money for travelling --if you are interested we should apply for a grant (PROBAL). 
Deadline is June.

5.3.07: Hi Paulo, I think the second reference below should be the most interesting for you. Concerning the first, I got the google information that somewhere there is a reference to DAAD and Probral, but I cannot read it. The third gives an example. The forth is in German and tells that Probral is currently not offered (yet); in former years the deadline was always in June, and a well informed person (Hartje Kriete) told me that it is very unlikely that it will not be offered this year. So we should be prepared. Hartje Kriete, kriete@math.uni-goettingen.de, has a faculty position to help people in writing grant applications; he told me that he is at least once a year in Brasil, so he might also help in specific problems, if there are any.
